Take the Step—Let Me Meet You There
A Letter from the Holy Spirit
This is what the Holy Spirit said to me, possibly to you too:
Dear Child of God,
You’ve been dreaming for a long time.
I’ve seen every vision, every plan, every tear behind closed doors.
And now I see something different in you:
Your dreams are no longer just dreams—they’ve become goals.
That’s growth.
That’s faith beginning to move.
And I’m proud of you.
Yes, your goals are big.
But they are possible.
Others have reached similar goals without knowing Me.
But you are not like them.
You don’t walk in your own strength.
You walk with Me.
That’s your difference.
That’s your advantage.
But child, let’s be honest:
You've been fighting with a weakness that has nothing to do with your circumstances.
It’s the kind of weakness that grows when you stop believing in what I’ve already placed inside you.
It’s when you forget that I live in you.
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?” — 1 Corinthians 6:19
That weakness doesn’t come from Me.
I did not give you a spirit of fear.
I gave you power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
And I am here—not to do the work for you, but to work through you.
But first, you must move.
You already have Me.
I am in you.
Now I’m asking you to stand.
To fight. To act.
And then—trust Me to finish what you cannot.
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14
But “be still” doesn’t mean “stay frozen.”
It means “stop panicking.”
Step forward in faith—even if your knees shake.
I will meet you there.
There’s a lie the enemy has tried to plant in your mind—that all I want is your silence and your sorrow.
But no.
I want your action. I want your courage.
I want you to pick up your stone like David did, and run toward the giant.
I want you to raise your staff like Moses did, even when the Red Sea hasn’t parted yet.
I want you to take the first step.
“Faith without works is dead.” — James 2:26
Here is what your mother said, and it holds truth:
Take one step, and God will take nine.
I’m not distant.
I’m not waiting for you to be perfect.
I’m waiting for you to believe that I will meet you when you move—even if you don’t know where it will lead.
Here’s what a step of faith looks like:
If you want to start a business but feel stuck—choose a name. Write it down. That’s your step.
If you’re trapped in addiction—clear out what tempts you. That’s your step.
If your heart is broken—pray again. Let Me in. That’s your step.
Each step you take in faith tells Me, “I believe You exist. I believe You reward those who seek You.”
And you are right.
“Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” — Hebrews 11:6
I love to be acknowledged.
Not for My ego—but because when you remember Me, you lean on Me.
And when you lean on Me, I lift you.
You’re not waiting on Me as much as I’m waiting on you.
Take the step.
Even if your faith is only the size of a mustard seed—move. Speak. Start. Risk.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid... for I am with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9
I will always meet you there.
Not to scold you. Not to shame you.
But to reward your faith and walk with you the rest of the way.
So go ahead—take your step.
I’m already taking the nine.
With you always,
~ The Holy Spirit (& King George).
